Luke Smith began his tank painting career in 2014 as an apprentice working for Lorenzo Works at Works Tank Painting. Through years of hands-on field experience, he advanced to the level of journeyman while working on water tower rehabilitation projects.
During that time, he developed extensive experience in water tower painting, abrasive sandblasting, industrial coating application, containment and rigging systems, structural welding, modifications, and repairs. His work has included full rehabs (interior and exterior) of existing tanks, blasting and painting of new construction tanks, and structural repairs on a wide variety of elevated water storage tanks.
